FAFSA Completion Workshop - New DCC Students

We look forward to assisting you at our FAFSA Completion Workshop. Click on the calendar below to select an appointment time.

Here are some other things you need to know in order to make your appointment a success.

    1. Get Your FSA ID at least 3 days prior to your appointment:

Ensure that every individual who will be contributing to your education has their own unique FSA ID. A contributor is defined as anyone who is required to provide information as part of a student's FAFSA submission, and may be a biological parent, step-parent, adoptive parent, or spouse of a student. The term contributor refers to an individual's contribution of information to the student's FAFSA, not an obligation to pay for the student's education.

How to create your FSA ID:

    • Visit the Federal Student Aid website
    • Click on "Get Started."
    • Create a username and password.
    • Answer security questions.
    • Review and submit your information.
    2. You must bring copies of the 2022 federal income tax return for the parents and the student (if filed) to assist in form completion. If you have W-2s for 2022 we recommend that you bring those also.

    3. Bring your social security number & date of birth informationfor yourself and your parent, if you don't know this information.

    4. No more than 2 guests per student allowed at the appointment.
